Featuring Paneer Lababdar

Ingredients

  • Butter, 2 tbsp
  • Onion, finely chopped, 2 tbsp
  • Tomato, finely chopped, 3 to 4 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds,1⁄2 tsp
  • Bay leaf, 1 no
  • Green cardamom, 2 to 3 no
  • Onion paste, 1⁄4 cup
  • Tomato puree, 1 cup
  • Cashew nut paste, 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Cream, 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Kashmiri red chili powder, 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder, 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder, 1⁄2 tsp
  • Shaman's paneer masala, 1.5 tbsp
  • Kasuri methi powder, 1 tsp
  • Paneer, cut into cubes, 200 gm
  • Water as required

Method

  • Heat butter in a pan.
  • Add whole spices to it. Add cumin seeds to it.
  • Add chopped onion and tomatoes to it. Add ginger garlic paste to it.
  • Add onion paste to it. Add all powdered spices to it. Add salt to it. Cook until oil oozes out.
  • Add tomato puree to it. Add cashew paste to it. Add water to adjust to its consistency. Add cubed paneer to it. Cook for further 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Finish it with cream and kasuri methi powder.
  • Serve it hot with Indian flatbread of your choice
